Labor Crisis Survey for Associates

As many of our associates may be aware, NJLCA and its Legislative Committee have been continually monitoring and fighting for proper H-2B Temporary Worker Visa legislation.  We have recently been invited to a breakfast with NJ Senators and have been asked to give a presentation on the effects of H-2B issue in New Jersey.  We are also planning a Washington, DC fly-in on September 10th.  They have asked that we provide specific information in the survey below.  We ask that you complete and return the following survey by either downloading the pdf and sending to us via fax (201) 703-3776 or email (legislative@njlca.org), or filling out the online survey below, as soon as possible. Although we understand that many of you are busy working hard this summer, we stress the importance of this survey in regards to the 2008 and 2009 fiscal years.  H-2B is affecting many, in and outside of the Green Industry, for those who use the program as well as those who do not, and we look to your feedback to be able to give our legislators a complete picture of how this labor crisis affecting us.  This survey will be completely anonymous, therefore please be honest and accurate.  Thank you for your time and we look forward to your quick response, as the future of our industry may depend on it.  Even if you do not use H-2B, your responses are vital to this survey.  If you do not use the program, you may skip to Question 11.
Sincerely,

The NJLCA Legislative Committee
